North Wales Ladies Recreational Football League (NWLRFL) was formed in September 2019.
In recent years the ladies recreational game has grown but officially there has been no league in North Wales.
We decided to change that.
There are a total of 12 teams from across North Wales taking part in the inaugural season. They have been split into two groups - East and West.
The six teams in each group will play in a round robin tournament. The top 2 in each compete in a Gold cup, The 3rd and 4th place teams compete in a Silver Cup, and 5th and 6th in a Bronze Cup.
About Recreational Football
Recreational football is aimed at ladies with no prior experience, for those who haven’t played for a while, or for those who can't commit because of work or family.
Ladies aged 16 and over can come along to keep fit, meet new people, and most importantly have fun.
We are trying to keep football inclusive with no preconceived ideas or expectations. Just turn up with a smile on your face and play.
All matches are played as 3 x 20 minutes, with team sizes of a minimum of 6 a side, and all available players getting game time.
